Seleqo Privacy Policy

Seleqo is published by Syns Digital. This policy explains how the Seleqo Chrome extension processes information and when information may leave your device.

1. Local-first tools

Calculations, unit conversions, percentage tools, timezone tools, colour tools, developer tools and read-aloud processing run locally in your browser. Notes, recent tools, settings and calculation or conversion history are stored using Chrome extension storage. The current version does not upload notes or local history to Syns Digital.

2. Page content and selections

Seleqo can inspect content you deliberately select so it can offer relevant actions. Selected content is processed locally by default and is not uploaded automatically. Seleqo does not read password-field values. You can disable the selection icon globally or disable Seleqo on an individual website.

3. Translation

When Chrome supports the requested language pair, translation runs on your device. If you are signed in to Premium and explicitly request a cloud-only translation, the submitted text and source and target language codes are sent securely through our Supabase Edge Function to Google Cloud Translation. The translated result is returned to your browser. Translation text is not added to Seleqo history or usage records.

4. Account and licence information

Supabase processes your email address, authentication records, account identifier, session information, subscription entitlement and monthly cloud-translation usage. This information is required for email-code sign-in, account access, Premium verification and allowance management.

5. Payments

Stripe processes subscription, billing, payment-method and transaction information. Syns Digital stores Stripe customer, subscription, price and subscription-status identifiers needed to provide Premium access. Syns Digital does not receive or store your full card number.

6. Currency rates

Currency-rate requests are made to the Frankfurter exchange-rate service. These requests contain the selected base and target currency codes. Selected webpage text, notes and browsing history are not sent with the request.

7. Browser permissions

Seleqo requests Chrome storage permission to retain settings and local data. It requests access to ordinary webpages so its launcher and contextual tools can appear there, and access to the Supabase and Frankfurter services for account, translation, billing and exchange-rate functions. Chrome prevents extensions from operating on certain internal pages.

8. How information is used

We do not sell personal information, use selected content for advertising, insert affiliate links, rewrite webpage links or rank results for payment.

9. Retention and deletion

Local data remains in Chrome until you delete it, clear extension storage or uninstall Seleqo. Account, entitlement, usage and billing identifiers are retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and prevent abuse. To request deletion of your Seleqo account information, contact us using the address below.

10. Security

Seleqo uses HTTPS and service authentication for online requests. Sensitive server credentials are not included in the extension. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

11. Your choices

You may disable the launcher or selection icon, disable Seleqo on individual websites, clear local extension data, sign out, manage or cancel your subscription through Stripe, uninstall the extension, or request deletion of account information.
